HAPPY FATHERS DAY

For Fathers Day, we bought David a porch swing. He has wanted one for a while so we finally bought him one. It took him a few hours to put it together but now it is up and he loves it! We love to go sit on it at night when it cools down and just enjoy the night sky. Look how happy he is!! Happy Fathers day to David (even though he is not a father yet) and to all the other Fathers out there!

TO THE MOUNTAIN!

I had the opportunity to go to girls camp this year as I am the 2nd counselor in the young womans presidency. It was so so much fun! We went to Cedar Mountain and it was so beautiful there. We arrived on Wednesday and stayed til Saturday. We kept busy with crafts, workshops, searching for a hidden rock that was painted silver that was hidden in the mountain, devotionals and testimony meetings.

It was so much fun getting to know these girls better. They gave me a nickname because they can never remember if my last name is Peterson or Patterson so they call me Peter Patter. It was so funny. I loved hanging out with them and running all over trying to find that darn rock with them. I loved hearing their sweet testimonies and seeing their unique personalities.

I am so grateful for all the beautiful young women in my ward!

We slept in these box car things that look like they came off a train. They had converted them into a place to sleep with 3 tier bunk beds. I of course got to sleep on the top. It was a little scary. But not bad. We called it our concentration camp because it was so funny looking. These things housed like 20 something beds each. It was crazy!

This is the cute Megan! She was very devoted in looking for that darn silver painted rock that she took off her shoes and waded in mud up to her knees looking for it.

Just a few of the super fun girls that I got to hang out with all week!
Megan, Lindy, Sadie, Caity, Savanna, Lauren, Me, and Braidee
These are most of the girls that were at camp. There are a few missing from this picture. I love all these cute girls!!
I came home to see this cute sign waiting for me when I came in the door. My sweet husband missed me. How cute is that?

WELCOME KYLE SCHERBEL!

I had a new little nephew on Saturday June 11! I was so excited to hear of his arrival! I may be biased but I am pretty sure that now I have 4 of the cutest nephews ever!
